C.A.P. #4: Trust

It's been a minute since I've felt ready to make another one of these. A few times I had sat down to channel the next image (or attempt to) something didn't feel right. Finally, on December 9th to be exact, I felt like I was ready or that an image was ready to come through. I prepared my altar, set my intention, put on some earth resonance tones (7.83 Hz), had my sketch book and pencil ready and recited my opening prayer to access the Akasha. I felt that maybe there wasn't a super specific message to illustrate but with the amount of chaos that we are all feeling (or trying not to feel), maybe I would just get the most important thing for everyone right now, even if it's broad or illusive.

Once I felt ready I asked, "what do we all need to know right now? What would be the most beneficial for everyone?" Typically, an image starts to develop pretty quickly but this time it was words. I heard, "surrender, a grounded trust, you're supported, faith." I tried to scribble them down as fast as they were coming up. After a few minutes some images and shapes started coming through. As you can see in the red pencil sketches it starts off pretty rough. I try to stay fluid and keep my hand moving as long as it wants too.

Although the image might be considered more abstract some parts of this seemed to me to have obvious symbolism. For instance, the waves at the bottom seem like roots to me and the triangle pointing up implies (I think) to hold more weight at the bottom, reminding us to ground our energy. The leaf shapes and the wavy lines above could be symbolic of flow. And the big flower shape feels like expansion to me. So there's a lot to unpack! Plus I struggled with whether or not to include the word "trust" since I don't typically add words to any type of art that I do! When I posted this in my Instagram story some responses that I got from you guys were "devine feminine, peace, curiosity, celebration." As usual, I asked my story viewers what the image makes them feel or what words come to mind. I love reading everyone's responses!

Here's where I'll give my very hippy-sounding advice based on all of the messages and intuitive hits I had while creating this. This part may sound dumb or it may be comforting, take what you want and leave the rest. As challenging as our immediate future may become our most important jobs are to stay grounded, stay in our hearts (not our heads), and if we are experiencing fear or uncertainty remember to focus on what you love most. Whatever the future holds for us may require us to examine what is truly important and possibly re-examine what is real.

How to stay grounded you ask? Spend time outside (bare feet in the ground if possible), coffee and chocolate are both grounding, play with your pets, do some yoga, get in the ocean, music can be grounding and so can dancing! If you read or watch something (like the news) and find it disturbing balance that out by directing your attention to one of your favorite interests. Balance out the crappy feeling with something cool!

As always, feel free to reach out with any questions or for clarity. I have links up in the Booking section for personal Akashic records readings, distance reiki and of course tattoo consultations and appointments. Thank you all for following along on this art journey!
